One of the best bands of all time.
I think that 2001's God Bless The Go-Go's album might just be their best. Yes, better than the 80's stuff.
Controversial.

I'm going to keep posting songs by Stars until they become the biggest band in the world. In a parallel, beautiful universe they already are.
Oh great, because the world is waiting for yet another New Order compilation album.
Well this upcoming collection on Rhino Records is a different in two ways.
Firstly, it's New Order and Joy Division. You know, together. I know, big wow.
Secondly though, we get a new previously unreleased track - Hellbent, from 2005.
This is one of several songs that were reportedly completed for the Waiting For The Sirens' Call LP which fans have been begging to be released. In truth though it's a grower but not a world beater. It is, nonetheless, infinitely better than one track that did inexplicably make that album, and double inexplicably was a single. The one that's officially the worst New Order song of all time.
Karren Brady, in today's Sun:
Avram was given the best possible conditions to do the job. There were no silly targets set, no talk of Europe. We just said: 'Keep us up'.
This was the sum of Brady's ambitions for West Ham this season. Zola proved he could do this, so why didn't he keep his job if survival was the target?
Synth pop's first proper star.
West Ham were relegated today. There's only one thing to cheer me up.
Imbruglia.
